  • Set up ovens, die, and mandrel

  • Understand the extrusion and inspection process (training required)

  • Setup and operation of extruders

  • Produce perform for extruders

  • Operate hydraulic machinery

  • Load machines and input machine settings per instructions

  • Follow directions from drawings, standard work, and work instructions

  • Sets wall on the tubing by using micrometers

  • Identify materials by barcode system for each job

  • Make labels for tubing and properly complete production reports (per work instructions)

  • Prepare for upcoming jobs

  • Review drawings for special notes on the packaging and special length requirements of tubing




 



 
   

Required Qualifications :
 Requirements:

 



  • Demonstrate ability to operate machinery

  • Basic computer skills preferred

  • Able to read work orders and manufacturing specifications/blueprints

  • Use basic shop math and interpret measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, calculator, etc.

  • HS Diploma or GED

  • Eligible to work in the US

  • Be a team player and communicate with peers

  • Basic understanding of Lean fundamentals preferred

  • Steel-toed footwear required

  • Stopping, standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
